🌟 Searching for the Perfect Eye Protection Lamp for Kids! 🌟
As summer rolls in, parents everywhere are looking for eye protection lamps for their little ones. This is a pressing need, and it's time to prioritize it!
When considering an eye protection lamp, there are five key factors to keep in mind: brightness, color rendering, color temperature, blue light levels, and flicker frequency—all of which should meet national standards.
I reached out to the factories for Huawei and Panasonic to understand what materials go into these lamps. Here’s what I found out from Mr. Zeng:
🔍 The core components of an eye protection lamp boil down to two main parts: full-spectrum LED chips and light guide plates. Everything else is just additional design features.
Full-Spectrum LED Chips: These come in both Chinese-made and imported varieties. However, most consumers aren’t aware of this, and brands often don’t disclose it. The imported chips outperform their domestic counterparts in brightness, lifespan, and overall performance. For our export business to Japan, we use Samsung LED chips from South Korea because of their high standards.
I asked, "Can’t domestic factories match this?"
Mr. Zeng responded, “It’s not just about chips; there are many components that are hard to replicate.”
The light guide plate is equally crucial. Each manufacturer has its own technology for designing light to meet human visual comfort. Their patented technology makes light distribution more three-dimensional and even. Otherwise, Huawei wouldn’t choose them as a manufacturer among the many factories in China!
Curious about the price differences, I asked why lamps on the market range from a few hundred to several thousand yuan despite similar specifications. Mr. Zeng explained that this is primarily due to brand premium—products marketed for babies and children tend to have higher prices due to perceived value.
It makes sense! Many parents believe that spending a bit more for their children's safety is worth it, and they’re often willing to pay extra for peace of mind.
