I recently visited this fascinating toy factory run by a charming young second-generation owner born in '96. Since we’re both from the same hometown, we quickly bonded, and he took me on a tour!
The factory has two nearby sites: one for packaging and assembly, and the other for injection-molding components, covering about 10,000 square meters. They specialize in magnetic tiles made primarily from magnets and plastic parts.
Having visited many factories, I often notice some cut costs by mixing in recycled plastics. So, I subtly asked the owner if they do the same. To my surprise, he was straightforward and took me to their raw material warehouse where a forklift was unloading materials.
He explained, “We mainly export to Europe and America, using 100% eco-friendly materials imported from Lotte Chemical in South Korea. Otherwise, we couldn’t pass EU standards. The top three brands on Amazon are our OEM partners!”
I checked, and it was indeed Lotte Chemical—very reliable!
Curious, I asked if they had their own brand since every child seems to have these magnetic tiles now. The owner mentioned they do sell their products in retail stores as well.
The production process for the magnetic tiles is quite straightforward: injection molding for parts and semi-manual assembly. Here are a few key points I gathered from my visit that parents should consider:
Quality Materials: They use imported ABS, which is more transparent and safer. Products that meet export standards generally have stricter quality controls.
Safety First: No rough edges or glue; they use reinforced components for added safety.
Strong Magnets: These tiles can hold six to seven pieces together easily.
Thoughtful Design: They offer a variety of accessories and take inspiration from designs abroad.
This visit really highlighted the importance of quality in children's toys. I’m excited to see how their products continue to make waves in the market!
