When purchasing, pay attention to the momme value; a higher momme indicates thicker fabric, but thicker is not always better.

Acetate fabric is similar to silk but is usually more expensive. It is commonly known as acetate fabric, which is produced through the esterification of acetic acid and cellulose. Acetate features vibrant colors, a bright appearance, and a soft, smooth texture.

5. Rayon
Rayon is a synthetic fiber made from cellulose. Its quality is considered slightly lower than that of mulberry silk. There are three main types: viscose rayon, lyocell, and acetate rayon, with viscose being the most commonly found in the market.
